Lovat Dashboard
Sources
Choose whose scouting data Lovat's numbers are built from.
Every team that scouts with Lovat adds to one shared dataset. Sources decide which of those teams’ reports go into the numbers you see: averages, predictions, picklists and charts. It’s always visible, so it’s always clear where a number comes from.
Change your sources
Section titled “Change your sources”The Sources control sits under the event switcher at the top of the sidebar (on narrower screens, it’s a chip at the top of each page). Choose:
- All teams: every team’s scouting. The most data, and the default.
- Team … only: just your team’s scouting. Use this when you trust your own scouters most, or to check your data against everyone else’s.
- Choose teams…: pick a list of teams, then choose Only these teams or All except these. For example, leave out a team whose numbers look off, or use only teams you know scout carefully.
Your choice also becomes your default. It’s saved in the page’s link, so when you share a link, your teammate sees the same numbers you do.
In the desktop app, the Sources menu has Own Team Only (⌘ ⇧ O) and All Teams (⌘ ⇧ A).
Events
Section titled “Events”Settings → Sources has the same team choices, plus Use data from events. Leave it on All events unless you want to ignore early-season data, then choose the events to use.
Other teams’ reports
Section titled “Other teams’ reports”Numbers from other teams are always shown as averages and totals. You can still open another team’s individual report or read their notes about a robot, one at a time, with the team that scouted it shown and the scouter’s name hidden. That’s how you spot numbers that look wrong and know which team to ask. See Coverage and flags.
